Structures & Bridges Lighting

Lighting can be used to accentuate architectural and engineered structures so that they will be visible from far away, standing out in a skyline where skyscrapers jostle for prominence, or simply enhancing the already striking line and form of a structure.

Challenges Faced

Extremes in weather and vibration, be it a roadway bridge or spire of light, make successful lighting challenging to both apply and maintain. Environmental operating temperature is a factor, but a structure may conduct and radiate extremes of temperature, imparting singular weather issues onto the luminaires. Operating consistency is more difficult with conventional technology.

Bridges and structures also bring maintenance and ease of access challenges where operational issues must be considered. Longer maintenance cycles and remote luminaire access provide benefits to the operator.

Recommended Solutions
