Power Control

Power & Control

Multi-Interface Board (MIB)

The key to the universal flexibility of the Lexel system, MIBs are interchangeable cartridges that receive incoming control signals and convert them to Philips’ proprietary T-Bus commications protocol. This allows the same Lexels to operate with a wide variety of 3rd party devices including simple switches and dimmers to controllers using DALI or DMX standard protocols. MIBs also can be used to store multiple presets when using manual control devices and may be used for simple software upgrades in the field.

Power Supply Unit (PSU)

Sometimes referred to as a driver in simple SSL systems, the PSU converts line voltage in the range of 100VAC – 240VAC to safe, conditioned, low voltage DC that is used as the power source for Lexels.

Combined Power & Control (CPC)

A single unit combines both functions of converting line voltage to low voltage DC power and receiving incoming control signals from user devices and converting them to commands the Lexel uses to set CCT, color, and dimming levels.

Product Models

  • CPC-MAN-4B: A CPC that is manually controlled using a 4-Button configuration to control CCT and light output level.
  • CPC-DALI: A CPC that receives control commands from devices using the Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) and converts them to T-Bus commands for use by Lexels.
  • CPC-DMX: A CPC that receives control commands from devices using the Digital Multiplex (DMX) protocol and converts them to T-Bus commands for use by Lexels.
