ControlFX™ Director is a simple, cost effective way to control a network of Destiny™ architectural LED luminaires. Unlike many control systems, the light show information does not reside in the control device. Instead, each Destiny™ luminaire stores its part of the show in its own onboard memory. Therefore the amount of memory available for light shows scales with the number of luminaires, and no additional investment in expensive controls is required. Another benefit to this architecture is that light effects can continue uninterrupted even if the ControlFX™ Director unit loses power temporarily. ControlFX™ Director ensures that the luminaires remain synchronized relative to one another and triggers scheduled shows to start and end at times chosen by the lighting designer or building operator.
