The Service Pit Light Pipe product is a fully sealed, Class I Division II Group D rated system for hazardous environment use. The six-inch (150mm) diameter light guide provides high quality, glare and shadow free light in lengths up to 40' (100mm) with a single luminaire. Lamps are easily accessed and maintained within the luminaire housing offering the operational advantages of a point source system with fewer lamps to further reduce maintenance. The light guide and luminaire are made from rugged construction materials and stainless steel components that are impact resistant and easy to clean. Rotational adjustments allow the system to be aimed where the work is being done creating hands free light and improved productivity. Light guides are factory sealed and contain no gases or electrical components and are illuminated using conventional 250/400W metal halide lamps. The luminaires are quickly attached to the light guide and only require basic wiring. Simple two-piece mounting brackets make overall system installation easy and fast.
